After a recount of votes in the last uncounted constituency the winner has not changed

In the Chernihiv branch of the Committee of voters of Ukraine (CVU) report that the results of the recount of the vote in 33 out of 216 polling stations in district # 210 center in Pryluky the winner of voting at the extraordinary parliamentary elections on the majority district has not changed – it remains the independent candidate Sergey Korovchenko.

“The results of repeated counting of votes of voters at 33 polling stations the district election Commission of single-mandate constituency 210 declared the winner of the independent candidate Sergey Korovchenko,” – said in the message published on the page of the Chernigov branch of the CVU on the social network Facebook.

According to information on the website of the Central election Commission, by results of counting of votes in single-mandate electoral district № 210 defeated running for Parliament as an independent candidate Sergey Korovchenko, which voted 21,24% of the voters (a 16th. 541 votes). While his nearest rival independent candidate Boris Prikhodko, enlisted the support of 21.11% of the voters (a 16th. 440 votes).

However, the OIC No. 210 for a long time could not complete the procedure of counting of votes and transfer the relevant protocols to the CEC as a candidate for people’s deputies Prikhodko said about the fraud and appealed to the courts demanding a recount of votes in more than 30 areas.

Chernihiv district administrative court satisfied the requirement of the stranger and decided to recount votes at more than 30 stations in district # 210.

OIC No. 210 filed an appeal against this decision, however, on 2 August the head of an okruzhkom, the lawyer Oksana Sokolovsky said that the Sixth administrative court of appeal intends to leave in force the decision of the administrative court of first instance.

Then she expressed the belief that such a “manifestly unjust decision” of the judges of the Sixth administrative court of appeal “may prevent the CEC announcement of results for the district 210” in the statutory 15-day period from the voting day, i.e. till 5th August, 2019.

Late in the evening of 5 August, the CEC stated the impossibility of Commission of the results of early elections of people’s deputies of Ukraine on 21 July 2019 in OIO No. 210 in the designated electoral law the deadline is no later than on the fifteenth day of the voting, i.e. until August 5, 2019.

In a press-service of the CEC said that since the purpose of enforcement of the law concerning establishment of the results of early elections of people’s deputies in OIO No. 210 the Commission ordered specified by the OIC no later than 16.00 on 6 August to complete a recount of the vote in 33 polling stations to be appropriate protocols and make the changes to the established voting results in the County.

On 6 August around 13.00, the press service of the CEC said that the Commission adopted the OIK Protocol No. 210 of voting results at the extraordinary parliamentary elections in single-mandate constituency with the mark “Specified”, which the Commission made after the re-counting of votes in 33 stations pursuant to the decision of the court.

The OIK Protocol No. 210 was the last out of 199 brought by the district commissions to the CEC originals of the protocols on results of voting at the extraordinary elections of people’s deputies on July 21.
