The report notes that NATO has two strategic air transportation.
One of them is the ability of strategic air transport for NATO (diplomatic Strategic Airlift Capability, or SAC), comprised of three heavy transport aircraft C-17 Globemaster, which belong to NATO, and in respect of which the allies distribute the costs and use of flight time.
The allies also bought a few transport aircraft Antonov (6 ed.) under the program of International decisions in the field of strategic aviation (Strategic Airlift International Solution – SALIS).
