The Ternopil regional Council on 6 November approved the concept of development of the integral property complex of the Ternopil airport for the period up to 2030.

It is noted that one of the key projects is the construction of over 6-7 years of customs cargo terminal estimated cost 308 million.
The project concept was developed by the Institute “Pivdendiprobudm” order by “Ternopilavtotrans”. The basis for the development of the project is the national transport strategy of Ukraine for the period until 2030.
According to the concept, in the airport has a customs terminal with warehouses, office premises and trade fair areas. For the construction of the regional government will allocate an area of 13.5 hectares.
The project involves three stages. The first phase will be implemented in the preparation of all necessary documentation – development of project estimates and approval, obtaining all necessary permits. It will require roughly 1,8 million hryvnias.
The airport will include a customs terminal, office and retail space
In the second phase value by 158.8 million hryvnias will be used for construction of the terminal. The third stage 147,7 million – will upgrade the area, to buy equipment and enter the facility.
Sources of funding for the project provided the money allocated by international financial organizations and private investors.
