The candidates can invest in the “mesh” to buy up the votes of hundreds of millions of hryvnia and dollars, but they do not bring results, said the Minister of internal Affairs of Ukraine Arsen Avakov.
“Grid” for buying votes in the election of the candidates never did, I am sure the Minister of internal Affairs of Ukraine Arsen Avakov. He said this in an interview LB.ua that came out on February 1.
“Speculators, who undertake the construction of a “grid”, speculating on the desire of the candidate to win. Based on my political experience, “grid” really never worked. The exception is the case of [former Kyiv mayor Leonid] Chernovetsky. But then it passed, because nobody expected it to happen. In all other cases it is hundreds of millions of hryvnia and dollars of “investments” that earn a “great strategist”. And then when the candidate gets 3%, he will say: “So I made you of the 2.5% – three!”, – said Avakov.
According to him, financing of the “nets” are engaged in the campaign headquarters.
This is called political corruption. Headquarters attract campaign contributors, ranging from oligarchy, ending medium-sized businesses. Their money attracted under the promise to pay after the elections, came to power. What? The same political corruption – tenders, positions in the field, licenses, preferences…”, – Avakov declared.
Presidential elections in Ukraine scheduled for 31 March 2019. The election campaign started on 31 December 2018. As of 1 February, the CEC has registered 28 presidential candidates.
