Unexpectedly even for developers remaster Crysis has become a temporary exclusive Nintendo Switch, but the craftsmen have found a way to run the game on PC. To do this they had to break in to the office or Crytek to modify the original. It was enough to use the emulator console hybrid. Out imperfect, but to play the updated shooter is still possible.
To run Crysis Remastered used the emulator Yuzu, which is currently in early access. Despite the impressive technical specifications of the PC on the base i9-9900K and RTX 2080, the shooter refused to work with Framatom above 30 fps. Moreover, the fps counter and then fell below that number, and appeared on the screen visual artifacts.
Most likely, these problems in the first place to blame the emulator. Previously, experts Digital Foundry maximally flattering on the Remastered version of Crysis for the Nintendo Switch. Shooter just runs on compact hybrid console works, but also looks noticeably better than the others currently available versions.
Crysis Remastered came out on the Switch on July 23. Release versions for PC, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One was to be held on the same day, but Crytek decided to modify remaster – all because of criticism from gamers. The new release date is unknown.
