According to UKIE, action role-playing Dragon Ball Z: Kakarot ranks first in the physical the UK, but ahead of the opponent by only 400 copies. The project recaptured the lead from Call of Duty: Modern Warfare.
January 2020 was quiet on releases compared to previous years. The only new game last week – Rugby 20 from Big Ben Interactive, which debuted at the thirteenth place. The project proved to be much better than its predecessor – Rugby 18 (released in November 2017) does not hit the top 40.
A special mention is The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt. The game continues to climb the charts. Three weeks ago action role-playing was the thirty-eighth place, then went up to the twentieth position in last week, and is now in twelfth place. The popularity of The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt jumped after the release of the Netflix series based on the series of “the Witcher” by Andrzej Sapkowski. His success came in handy for the developer, CD Projekt RED, who has postponed his next major release – Cyberpunk 2077 – from April to September.
In the UK there is an acute shortage of the Nintendo Switch. Comes to the fact that some of the retail network every time announce when they stock more systems. The increase in the number of consoles last week had a positive impact on the sales of Mario Kart 8 Deluxe, which climbed six places to sixth.
The rest of the top 10 consists of the usual Grand Theft Auto V, FIFA 20, Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order, Luigi’s Mansion 3 and Just Dance 2020.
