Ingredients:

  • 150 g – bread
  • 6 tbsp brown sugar
  • 1 tsp – lemon zest
  • 2 tsp – lemon juice
  • 450 g strawberries
  • mascarpone cheese

Preparation:

1. Fry the bread in the toaster until crisp.

2. Heat a pan on high heat. Add the sugar, lemon zest and lemon juice.

3. Cook for about a minute, until the syrup begins to boil. Then add the chopped strawberries and cook for another minute, stirring.

4. On toast, spread a spoonful of cheese and top to put warm berries in syrup.
