Shortly before the expected release in the network appeared the first test results card entry-level AMD Radeon RX 5300M for a budget gaming notebook. The model is based on the architecture of Navi to compete with its direct competitor – and bound upon his competition.
Video card with 22 computing units and 1408 stream processors got 3 GB of GDDR6 graphics memory with an effective speed of 12 GB/s GPU Clock speed is 1445 MHz. Its competitor in the same price range – with NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1650 with 4GB of GDDR5 memory, a core clock 1560 MHz (1125 MHz in the version of Max-Q) and the same TDP of 50 watts.
The novelty was tested in an unnamed laptop processor Ryzen 7 3750H. In 3DMark Firestrike it was 19% faster than GTX 1650 Max-Q, and 8% have bypassed a basic version of “green” opponent. In 3DMark 11, the graphics card was 8% faster than a standard GTX 1650 and 24% faster than the version of Max-Q.
On average, despite the lower amount of video memory, AMD Radeon RX 5300M was faster than the NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1650 and lost 12 – 13% RX models 5500M. Debut available the new items is expected in the coming months, the price of the graphics adapter manufacturer to be announced.
