The hryvnia exchange rate against the Euro and the dollar on August 10 in the cash market behaved differently so, the American currency has risen in price on the last working day of the week from 11 cents, but the European price of 13 cents.
This is according to the website finance.ua.
Euro 10 Aug bought 31,07 hryvnia (down 13 cents compared to the previous day), and sold – for of 31, 66 hryvnia (-8 cents).
The dollar on Friday bought 27,13 hryvnia (+11 cents, compared with Thursday), and sold – 27,45 hryvnia (12 cents).
On the exchange rate of the NBU on 10 August, the dollar has increased in price to 15 cents and cost 27,11 UAH. Euros rose by 19 cents to 31,43 UAH.
Note, the dollar is slowly falling the whole summer 2017. As at 1 June in the cash market it sold of 26.33 UAH, and at the end of summer, August 29, its price was UAH 25,64. The dollar rebounded rapidly in the first week of September and then its rate has been relatively stable. In early November, the U.S. currency fell slightly, however, on 6 November, the dollar has been increasing steadily, reaching a peak in mid-January 2018 (28 and 87 UAH). However, from January 22 to “green” started to fall, down to 26.65 hryvnia in mid-February. From April to early July, the rate of “green” held in the hall of 25.9-26,25 hryvnias, and from the beginning of July the dollar started to add a daily at the price a few cents.
The Euro at the end of June 2017, soared up when the Euro currency gained 70 cents in price in one week. The upward trend in Euro preserved whole second half of 2017 and January 2018, reaching a peak 35,66 of the hryvnia. Then in early February, the Euro slipped to a level of 33.3-33.5 the hryvnia and a spring kept falling at the end of may it bought 30,1 hryvnias. Beginning June 1, 2018 the Euro is slowly growing. Recall, the absolute record was back in February 2015 37,35 UAH/EUR.
