Finland is preparing to allocate 600 thousand euros to Ukraine on clearing of Donbass.
The Finnish delegation led by Minister of foreign Affairs, Pekka Haavisto visited the site of the dilution of forces and means No. 1 in the Village of Lugansk.
According to him, Eastern Ukraine is one of the most mine-contaminated area of conflict in the world.
The Finnish delegation to the trip accompanied by the Deputy foreign Minister of Ukraine Yegor Bozhok.
Haavisto expressed concern about the fact that the conflict continues to negatively affect the lives of the civilian population. He also congratulated the restoration work underway in the Village Lugansk – the repair of the bridge and run free public transport for people with reduced mobility.
Note that on 12 September during a meeting of presidents of Ukraine and Finland, the countries agreed to increase military cooperation and develop dialogue between our defence agencies.
Vladimir Zelensky thanked Finland for the support of sovereignty and territorial integrity of Ukraine.
