Businessman and former head of the party “Dill” Gennady Korban said he intends to buy as much buckwheat in the country, so politicians did not have it to bribe voters.
“Today, accidentally hit the village shop. And bought up all the buckwheat. To empty the counter. I will continue to buy. Decided to call a flash mob to buy up buckwheat throughout the country. That other candidates have not got,” wrote the Korban on his page in Facebook on Sunday evening, February 17.
On intermediate elections in the Verkhovna Rada in 2015, when Corban was a candidate in people’s deputies on the 205-th district in Chernigov, his staff according to the schedule handed out to voters grocery sets. For that candidate’s opponents coined him the nickname “Marshal Grechko”. Korban then lost elections to the candidate of BPP Sergey Berezenko.
Corban decided to recall those events, replacing the photo in Facebook profile.
“They (the candidates – Ed.) a lot, and I, Marshall Grechko – one”, – he commented ironically.
