Republic of Crimea jointly with other subjects of the Russian Federation is ready to send to Syria in the period 2020 up to 250 thousand tons of grain of different varieties. Deliveries could begin in the spring. This was announced by the Chairman of the Council of Ministers of Crimea Yuri Hotsanic.
– In addition we are planning to deliver in 2020 to Syria building materials, construction equipment, electrical tools, hardware, fertilizers, chemicals and other products. This year, the exports from the Crimea is also planned in a number of countries in the Middle East, – said Yuri Hotsanic.
In addition, according to the Chairman of the Council of Ministers, representatives of the SAR plan to purchase roughly one every two-three months, 5500 tons of sunflower oil: “due To the fact that in Crimea there are large amounts of sunflower oil to Syria will be referred to products produced in other regions of the Russian Federation”.

He also said that at the present time JSC “Kerch metallurgical plant” the issue of delivery of manufactured products to the Syrian Arab Republic under the mediation of the company “Crimean-Syrian Trading house “Sodruzhestvo”.
The Chairman of the Council of Ministers of Kazakhstan reminded that the Crimean Syrian Trading house has started its activity in 2018. The first consignment was successfully shipped by sea in March 2019.
For more successful interaction, the Syrian side has opened a branch of the Crimean-Syrian Trading houses in Damascus. In August last year, the Crimean delegation participated in the 61st session of the Damascus international fair, which was signed a number of agreements on cooperation, – said Yuri Hotsanic.
