Cypriot authorities began to confiscate the passports of suspect buyers of investment citizenship.
The Cypriot authorities have promised to check buyers “Golden passports” to revoke the citizenship of those who got it illegally, at the end of October. The first result followed a week later.
According to local editions of Sigma, in a list of 26 people were nine Russians, eight Cambodians, five Chinese, two Kenyan and one Malaysian and Iranian. This includes not only investors, but also their family members.
