This was announced by the head of the Committee on energy, Commerce, industry and tourism of the house of representatives of the Republic of Cyprus Andreas Kyprianou, writes Cyprus Mail.
“We (Cyprus – ed.) will be ready to open its doors June 15. However, everything will depend on the decisions of the Council of Ministers, recommendations of epidemiologists and orders of the ministries of health and transport,” said Kyprianou.
On the basis of information obtained during the teleconference with the Deputy Minister of tourism Savvas Perdisa, Kyprianou said that the Agency expects this year to restore 30% of the performance of last year’s tourist flow to the island and income from industry.
