Dell has expanded the range of branded products for gamers, by presenting a number of novelties. The updated vendor catalog includes two series of gaming laptops, the lineup of desktops with a wide range of components, mechanical keyboard with backlit curved monitor with a screen diagonal of 27 inches.
New gaming laptops called Dell G7 G7 15 and 17 with a thickness of 18 mm fitted with displays a diagonal of 15 and 17 inches respectively. Both models are built on Intel’s tenth generation up to the flagship eight-core Core i9. One of the features of the ruler is customizable RGB-backlit keyboard and chassis components.
In older configurations the laptops got discrete graphics NVIDIA GeForce RTX 2070 Max-Q (RTX 2070 for model SUPER G7 17), 32 GB RAM, SSDS up to 1 TB PCI-Express and OLED 4K screens @ 60 Hz (1080p @ 300 Hz as an option). Proprietary Game Shift button, which got the whole range, allows you to control the fan speed of the cooling system, increasing its efficiency when launching “heavy” applications.
Battery capacity 15-inch models in the maximum configuration is 86 WH, 17-inch – 97 WH. The new G7 series 17 will arrive on June 17 priced from $1430, and the range G7 15 debuts at retail with the same initial price 29 June.
Updated the Dell and the line of branded gaming desktop. On the select users, the company introduced seven variants of processors and the nine graphics cards in various configurations. Flagship Assembly will include the Intel Core i9 of the 10th generation in combination with 64 GB of RAM and a graphics accelerator NVIDIA GeForce RTX 2070 SUPER. More affordable options will get Intel Core i3-10100 and GPU such as the NVIDIA GeForce GTX or AMD Radeon 1650 RX5600.
The list of options the system unit includes elements of RGB-illumination inside and outside the housing, and a transparent side panel. Lineup of desktops Dell G5 will go on sale July 9 with a starting price of $700 for the basic package.
In addition to gaming PCs and laptops, Dell also announced a mechanical keyboard Alienware RGB adjustable backlight and 27-inch curved monitor with a resolution of 1920×1080 pixels and a refresh rate of 144 Hz. Novelties will go on sale in August this year at a price of $129 and $279, respectively.
