73-year died the famous Belarusian coach Valentin Petrovich Voronin. The cause of death of a foreign specialist were not disclosed.

A long time specialist worked in Ukraine. He was an assistant in the Odessa team “Bipa-Moda”. Also, the Belarusian headed MBK “Odessa”, “Vozko”, “Lvivska politehnika”, “Chemist”, “Politehnika Galicia”.

A brief biography of Valentina Voronina

Valentin Voronin was born on 26 January 1947 in the Stavropol region (Russia) in the family of military personnel. After his birth the family moved to Moscow, where he graduated from high school. 1965 – student of the Moscow Institute of physical education, 1968 – served in the Soviet Army (CSKA).

Later began to play for the basketball club of the first League “Spartak” Moscow region (the current BK “Khimki”). In 1973 advocated “Almaz” (Moscow), in 1973-1975 – “the locomotive” (Mineral Waters), in 1976-1980 – the Sozh (Gomel, Belarus).

Between 1986 and began his coaching career. Under his leadership, Saratov “Avtodor” won silver and three times bronze medalist of the Russian championship. Master of sports of the USSR (1973), honored coach of Belarus (1994).
