Well-known composer, arranger, conductor and pianist Michel Legrand died at the age of 86 years.
Legrand was known as the author of the music for the film “the umbrellas of Cherbourg”. He is three times winner of the award “Oscar” in the nominations for best song and the best music for the film. Winner of five Grammy awards, one Golden Globe.
The composer wrote over 200 songs for films.
