Eight Ukrainians made it to the finals of the super sprint at the European Championships in biathlon

At the European Championships in biathlon, which is from February 26 to March 1, held in Raubichi (Belarus), ended the qualifications of female and male super sprint.

Among men first place was taken by Belarusian Anton Smolski. However, it does not matter, because in the finals of the best 30 biathletes.

Among the Ukrainians in the top 30 were Dmitry Pidruchny (6th), Ruslan Tkalenko (13) and pryma Artem (27). Not one of the finalists Anton Dudchenko (35), Sergey Semenov (38), Bogdan Tsymbal (60).

Among women first place was taken by the Belarusian Dinara Alimbekova. As for the Ukrainians, the top 30 made it four.

The best result was shown by Valentina Semerenko, who came in second place and lost 2,3 time Alimbekova. Also in the finals of Yuliya Zhuravok (20), Anastasiya Merkushyna (22), Olena Pidhrushna (23) and Vita Semerenko (29). Didn’t make the final only Darya Blashko (58).
