Emirates will reduce the free baggage allowance on some economy class fares.
Innovation will take effect for tickets issued on 4 February and after this date.
Under the new concept, in economy class free Special rule will be reduced from 20 kg to 15 kg, for a Saver fare – from 30 to 25 kg on flights where the weight concept applies, the baggage allowance.
On routes to America and the flights from Africa, where the piece concept applies to carriage free baggage allowance will be reduced only for the Special fare – from two to one piece of Luggage weighing up to 23 kg.
On flights between the us and the EU, as well as on flights to America free allowance will be reduced for both the Special fare and Saver fare – from two to one piece of Luggage weighing up to 23 kg.
For the remaining tariffs will continue to apply the old rules. They provide free transport of 30-35 kg of Luggage on tariffs of economy class Flex and Flex Plus, 40 kg in business class and 50 kg in first class in the case of the weight concept.
On routes where the piece concept, passengers with tickets on tariffs of economy class Flex and Flex plus will be free to carry two pieces of Luggage weighing up to 23 kg each. In the business class and first class standard will remain at the level two seats up to 32 kg each.
