Torrential rain started early this morning and washed the city with cold water. On the sidewalks appeared timid streams, and the roads turned into real rivers. Most people prefer to observe what is happening at the window, enjoying the fragrant tea. The streets were the most persistent, because the work must go regardless of the weather.
Towards evening rain began to gradually weaken until it is fully abated. The city was filled with coolness, and the bright traffic lights reflected on wet asphalt. This picturesque scene of deserted streets captured the lens of the Informant.
Summer rains are pleasant and refreshing, but the heavy rain which covered the Dnieper river today, was quite different. The streets filled ice water, and appeared on the sidewalks yellowed foliage, reminding us that autumn will come very soon. Even the sky, yesterday in spectacular tangerine sunset hid behind a faceless clouds.
By nightfall, the city was plunged into a dream: the silence of the deserted avenues only occasionally violated the lonely sound of engines and the singing of birds and the laughter of young people walking was replaced by the roar of cold chilly wind. Surly night was incredibly beautiful: in fact, there is something charming in soaked to the thread city.
Hard to say, and will return the summer and will there be another opportunity to relax on the beach, however, learn to see the beauty in every detail. The Dnieper is an incredible city and it’s not the weather. Grey and gloomy sky on its own highlights the intricate architecture of historic buildings.
The coming days promise to be cold, and therefore wrap in a soft and fluffy blankets, brew a delicious tea and enjoy a good movie in the company of loved ones. Warmth that will give a night are more valuable than the bronze tan.
Earlier, the Informant showed amazing photos of the night of the Dnieper, which fascinates millions of lights. We also did an amazing photo of waterfront at sunset, and immortalized crimson sunset in the city centre. In addition, you can enjoy the amazing photographs taken under a full moon near the monument to the Unnamed mark. You will certainly be impressed photos of the full moon, made at the Cossack cemetery in Stari Kodaky.
