These days it’s hard not to miss the pure electric models launched or declared for production in China. Here is another concept Enovate ME-S, an electric sedan with four doors, debuted at the Shanghai motor show last week, featuring a striking, though familiar style.
In Enovate Motors say ME-S will go into production in 2021 with the battery-powered 800 In and compatibility with the charging power of 300 kW. This means that ME-S will be able to charge the battery to 80 percent in just 15 minutes.
Not to mention no technical details about the powertrain, the Chinese startup company says that the ME-S will be fully driven and will be able to reach the speed of 100 km/h in three seconds.
One could say, the concept of four-door sedan attractive, if not for the fact that it’s a bit like the Porsche Panamera and Taycan. The back panel shows fairly high levels of similarity, while the hinged rear doors are reminiscent of the concept of Mission E.
Here is pertinent to note that the project Manager Enovate is Hakan Saracoglu, who participated in the development of models such as the Porsche 918 Spyder.
Futuristic interior with four individual seats, with plenty of wood and a large screen. But, this is purely a concept, but because this was to be expected. Enovate says ME-S will also be equipped with Autonomous technology 4-level telecommunication standard 5G.
According to the company representative, who spoke to Top Gear, Enovate plans to follow in the footsteps of Tesla, first entering the luxury segment, and then turning to more affordable cars.
“We still determine the price. We could make it cheaper and sell more, but then your brand value is falling. We want to start with the best of products – the luxury and then go lower, like Tesla,” said he.
