The creation of the Supreme court of Ukraine anti-corruption (WACHS) will be completed in February of this year. The President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko said at a meeting of the National investment Council, which took place in the framework of the world economic forum in Davos.
“I want to assure you that we do not stop the reforms will not stop the fight against corruption. In February we are completing the process of creating an anti-corruption court, together with the National anti-corruption Bureau of Ukraine and the Specialized anticorruption Prosecutor’s office, which are completely independent. 2600 corrupt officials have already received the verdict of the court and prisoners into custody,” – said Petro Poroshenko.
The head of state noted that this week in London the national Bank of Ukraine received the award for transparency in the banking sector.
“This is the result of our fight against corruption in the banking sector”, – said Poroshenko. He assured foreign businessmen and politicians that the authorities in Kiev are consistently working to improve the investment climate in Ukraine. Evidence of this is that Ukraine has risen by 5 steps in the Doing business rating.
