The head of “Railways” Evgeny Kravtsov on Wednesday, March 20, reporters call the average wage sotrudnikov the railway industry. The average salary in the company “Ukrzaliznytsya” today is about 11,5 thousand hryvnias.
“The structure of costs of “Ukrzaliznytsia”, a large portion of salary. To date, the company has entered the top ten in the level of wages in branches of economy of Ukraine. But we traditionally been no lower than 7th place”, – said Kravtsov.
According to him, the average salary in the company amounts to about 11.5 thousand UAH, which is slightly rather from the overall average wage in the country, but less in comparison with similar industries in the CIS countries, reports КорреспонденТ.net.
“Even if the analysis of average wages in CIS countries, worse than in the “Ukrzaliznytsia” in Uzbekistan. We have salaries lower than in Belarus by about 20%, Russia – by 20-25%, Kazakhstan – about 10-15%. The difference is significant”, – said the head of the company.
“And that’s a pretty substantial claim on the part of our unions. In such a situation to retain staff is difficult. 2016-2017 were disastrous from the point of view of the number of people who left the “Ukrzaliznytsya”. The years measured in tens of thousands,” – said Kravtsov.
Thus, according to him, primarily because the company laid off employees with high-class.
In this context, he recalled, scheduled for April of the current year indexation of tariffs for cargo transportation by 14.2%.
“Income from indexation does not cover the cost of the BONDS. Recently the indexation costs increased by 10.3 billion hryvnias, mainly due to the cost of diesel fuel, electricity, metal, and repairs, the increase in the salaries by 25%,” – said the company.
“Indexation of tariffs in 2019 14.2% is less than the change in market prices constituting costs of “Ukrzaliznytsia”, which increased by 23.7%”, – summed up in knots.

The head of Ukrzaliznytsia’s wages more than 70 times higher than the average for its industry. In particular, in January 2019 it amounted to more than 830 thousand UAH. Was that taken into account his salary when determining the average of the industry, is unknown.
