Famous boxer wants to fight with Usyk for WBO belt

Ex-world champion under version WBO in a super heavyweight Joseph Parker (26-2, 20 KO’s) wants to return a lost title if current champion Anthony Joshua (23-1, 21 KO’s) will reject it.

As the Manager of the new Zealand boxer David Higgins, Parker wants to fight for the belt with mandatory Challenger Alexander Usik (17-0, 15 KO’s). Higgins Was Quoted By Sky Sports.

There is talk that Joshua will have to give up one of the titles. If he leaves the WBO belt, the Mustache will be the mandatory Challenger and, as far as I know, Parker is the next in the ranking. All might match the Mustache with Parker for the vacant title. Barbel – a very difficult opponent. He’s a southpaw, Alexander is able to deal with Anthony Joshua. We understand that. Joseph is the representative of the old school, he will not go back. If there is a possibility, Parker would come right out and fight with the Mustache. Alexander is a very skilled professional. I respect the Mustache and his Manager. It will be a good fight. I hope we’ll see it this year
he said.

As you know, Joshua owns titles IBF and WBO. The IBF ordered the British to protect against Pulev until April.

However, the battle with the Moustache, who is the official Challenger for the WBO title, should occur within six months. World Boxing News believes that a more likely contender to fight with Joshua is Pulev.

Thus, the Tendril will get a chance to win the vacant WBO belt in a bout against Parker. At the same time, Joshua will be able to fight against the winner of the rematch between DevTeam Wilder and Tyson fury in the summer of 2020, the year.
