Two-time champion “Formula 1”, the winner of the marathon “24 hours of Le Mans and the 24 hours of Daytona”, Spanish racer Fernando Alonso has announced the end of his career in endurance racing (WEC).
According to Nando, he liked to be part of the Toyota team Gazoo Racing, but this Chapter is coming to an end as the time has come it is time to accept new challenges. The Spaniard said that he has a lot of interesting possibilities with a Japanese racing team.
Also Fernando Alonso said that currently he and his mates Sebastien Buemi and Kazuki Nakajima fight for the title of Champions in the WEC team and individual competition and hope to win both titles simultaneously defending last year’s victory at Le Mans.
Place Fernando Alonso in Toyota Gazoo Racing in the season 2019/2020 is a new Zealand racer Brendon Hartley, who previously played in the WEC for Porsche team, where he won the marathon in Le Mans and the world champion title.
