Today, the Japanese company Sharp introduced a flagship smartphone Aquos R5G in Taiwan. This presentation was the first of a series of events that will take place in many regions. The device was introduced in Japan in February of this year, and now the manufacturer is targeting the global market. The start of sales of the smartphone outside the country will be held on the sixth of July.
The new flagship, like most devices, the company stands out primarily for its unique design. The smartphone display has two cut – in the lower and upper parts of a 6.5-inch IPS display. And the bottom is designed to accommodate the fingerprint scanner. The screen refresh rate with a resolution of QHD+ is 120 Hz. The display has an aspect ratio of 19.8:9 and covered with a protective glass Gorilla Glass 6. The smartphone is protected by standard IP68 and weighs 189 g.
