Publisher Focus Home Interactive under its new financial report confirmed the acquisition of German Studio Deck13 Interactive developer from The Surge 2 – and hinted at the imminent announcement.
The deal cost the French publisher of €7.1 million as reasons for the purchase was named “most improved” Deck13 Interactive – in particular, the series of The Surge – and the earnings of studios (€5.5 million) over the past fiscal year.
Focus Home Interactive also note that over the 18 years of its existence, Deck13 Interactive has released over 20 games and currently employs about 60 permanent staff.
“In recent years we have established a very close relationship with Focus. Today we are pleased to announce that this friendship has moved to a new level. Deck13 has become part of the family Focus!” – shared joy developers at itself in a microblog.
Focus Home Interactive has also promised in the near future to tell you about new games of their partners: “little gem” Games, and two Limestone projects in the universe of Warhammer – tactics from Gasket and action Games from Streum On Studio.
In addition, the publisher is preparing for the imminent presentation “incredibly ambitious” cooperative action in a fantasy world Sumo Digital. The exit action is expected in the last quarter of the current fiscal year.
Finally, the French company said that from now on will not release games in the series Farming Simulator. Starting with a new part, the franchise will take the developer Giants Software.
