Almost a month and a half, the police documented more than 400 criminal offenses committed by foreigners.
So, from 1 March to 31 may this year are targeted preventive measures for supervision and control over observance of legislation in the area of migration under the conditional name “Migrant”. In particular, since March 16 is the practical phase of the events.
“Since the beginning of the practical phase of the operation “Migrant” police officers documented 434 criminal offenses committed by foreigners. Most citizens of other countries have committed thefts, robberies, robberies and fraud – 166 facts. Also police found 88 facts of forgery of documents, 58 facts related to the sphere of drug trafficking,” – said Abroskin.
Also, the police operatives exposed and eliminated four organized criminal groups, composed of foreigners. Two such groups were engaged in human trafficking, and the other two specialized on thefts.
In addition, detained 30 foreign nationals who were wanted for committing criminal offences.
According to the Deputy head of the Department for combating crimes connected with trafficking of the Channel Igor Malakhov, a month and a half of investigative units of the national police declared suspects in 632 criminal proceedings in respect of foreigners. To court with the indictment was sent to 521 criminal proceedings.
At the same time brought to administrative responsibility 12 800 foreigners. Therefore, imposed fines on almost 2.5 million. At the same time, 700 thousand hryvnias are collected in the state.
“Through our partnership with the State migration service implemented the algorithm of actions on interaction and respond effectively to foreigners-infringers. So, we sent more than three thousand cases, half of which (1520) is already met, to reduce the period of stay, cancellation of permission on immigration, the abolition of residence permit in Ukraine, a ban of entry, forcible return or deportation from our country,” – said Malakhov.
According to the chief of criminal investigation Department Sergey Tikhonov, from the beginning of the work police and migratiunii forcibly returned or expelled for 25 of these foreigners.
“We have worked out mechanisms of interaction and passed to the system working with colleagues at HMS. In particular, this concerns the prevention of a further stay in our country of foreign citizens serving sentences in places of deprivation of liberty. So, the police and migratiunii from the beginning events were forcibly returned or expelled for 25 of these foreigners,” – said Tikhonov.
First Deputy Chairman of the State migration service of Ukraine Natalia Naumenko said that during the “Migrant” operation detained more than 6 thousand persons who have violated immigration laws.
