One of the most famous studios, which creates remakes of games Bluepoint Games – lost its founder. Talented developer Andrew O’neill passed away at the age of 47 years.
The company posted an obituary on his page in Facebook.
“With great sadness we have to announce that one of our founders Andy O’neill passed away. Andy was a key figure in the history of Bluepoint Games, and his genius catapulted the Studio of two people to where we are today. Andy was never afraid of challenging tasks skillfully led us on the most complex projects and exceeded any expectations,” the official obituary page, Bluepoint Games in Facebook.
It will always remind us that we do our work not because it is easy, but because it is complicated. He always pushed the Studio to commit great deeds, and we will continue to work on his legacy,

Major works of O’neill. In addition to the remakes and remaster Shadow of the Colossus, Uncharted, Metal Gear Solid and God of War, Andrew O’neill worked on Turok and was the lead programmer of Metroid Prime series. The industry lost a great man.
Date and cause of death. O’neill died June 10 at his home in Austin, Texas at the age of 47 years. The cause of death was not disclosed.
