In the team of Vladimir Zelensky said, will the price of gas and what it will
The corresponding statement at the headquarters of the party “servant of the people” was made by the representative of the President in the Cabinet of Ministers Andriy Gerus, UNIAN reports. According to him, it all depends on several factors.
“The first factor is the relationship with the transit of gas, the relations with Gazprom from Russia, and what will happen to the gas balance for December, January, February. If Gazprom is trying to block all ways the transit of gas through Ukraine, it can cause specific deficits and can lead to the fact that we have the price of gas will go up,” – predicts policies.
Now Ukraine is actively buys and is pumping gas into underground storage to prepare for winter.
“If we prepare, if we upload it gas, if we are still in this to reduce our consumption, including through energy efficiency, and if we have solved the issue with the transit, I think that the situation will be quite stable, and in principle, any unrest there will be no more about the lack of gas, or about some kind of super-high gas prices,” said Gerus.
Earlier it was reported that the President’s team of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky is developing changes to the rules for obtaining grants. This was announced by the representative of the President in the Cabinet of Ministers Andriy Gerus on his page in Facebook. He stated this against the backdrop of expected revenues to the Ukrainian budget an additional UAH 2 billion a year because of the decision of the Cabinet of Ministers of special duties on the import of Russian diesel fuel and liquefied gas.
“These funds should be directed to the program expansion subsidies for low-income segments of the population. As of January 2018 6.9 million households used the grants. However, due to various decisions/events as of January 2019, the number of subsidianes was reduced by up to 3.6 million households. This resulted in a decline of payment discipline, increase of debts for housing and communal services”, – said Gerus.
“In my opinion, in addition a minimum of 1-1. 5 million of unsecured household reasonably entitled to subsidies, so we are now working on changes to the rules for subsidies”, – said Gerus.
