The meeting of the head of the German foreign Ministry with the President of Iran will be held June 10
Monday, June 10, in Teheran the Minister for foreign Affairs of Germany Maiko Haas will hold a meeting with Iranian President Hassan Rouhani in the framework of the European efforts to preserve the nuclear Pact Iran with the world powers, and amid rising us-Iranian tensions. About it reports RBC-Ukraine with reference to Reuters.
Maas reported that there is a danger of any conflict with Iran for the entire Middle East.
“We, the Europeans, are convinced that you should try to keep the Vienna nuclear agreement with Iran,” – said the head of the German foreign Ministry.
He also added that he wants dialogue despite the fact that the disputes seem insurmountable.
At the same time, the Minister of foreign Affairs of Iran Mohammad Javad Zarif said that the visit of the Meuse in Tehran shows that Germany wants to “save a live” nuclear deal. He also suggested that Tehran would not consider the Maas as a mediator between the US and Iran, adding that “it is unlikely that the Minister of foreign Affairs of Germany sent to Tehran to carry spetsposhlina”.
