The chief of staff Ruslan Homchak, took part in meetings of the NATO military Committee at the level of chiefs of General staffs.
Chief of the General staff – chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Colonel-General Ruslan Homchak, took part in the meetings of the military Committee North Atlantic Treaty Organization at the level of chiefs of defence format with the operating partners of the Mission Resolute support (Afghanistan), which took place in Brussels.
About it reported in a press-service of the Ministry of defence.
Also, as noted, during a visit to the headquarters of NATO Homchak held meetings with the chiefs of staff of the Armed Forces of the UK and Romania, and chief of the General staff of the Armed Forces of Lithuania and Poland.
“It was about to deepen military dialogue between the Armed Forces of Ukraine and NATO, and discussed aspects of military cooperation”, – noted in the defense Ministry.
Homchak also met with the head of the joint chiefs of staff, General mark Milly, reports Voice of America. Military leaders discussed the current situation in the sphere of security in Europe.
The statement of the press service of the joint chiefs of staff stresses that Ukraine is a key partner for NATO and plays a critical role in maintaining peace and security in Europe.
