Since 2011, the number of smartphone owners in Ukraine increased from 7% to 55%. Research & Branding Group conducted its own research and discovered how many people use smartphones in the cities and villages, and who most of all among Ukrainians use the gadget in everyday life.

How many Ukrainian owners of smartphones? “The February results of a sociological survey, more than half of Ukrainians (55%) have such a device, like a smartphone, while 45% still they have not got. It should be noted that back in 2011 the smartphone or PDA owned only 7% of the population of Ukraine, and in 2013 – 11%,” – said in the study.
How many in Ukraine smartphone owners
According to the survey, among people under 30 years old own a smartphone 92%, and among members of the generation of “60+” – only 12%. Among users of social networks have a smartphone 88%, and among “non users” – 19%.
Among urban dwellers own smartphones, more than half (58%) and among rural – a little less than half (48%).
How many Ukrainians can’t imagine their life without smartphones
How many people can’t do without your smartphone? In 2019, more than half of smartphone owners in Ukraine already can’t imagine life without a smartphone (57%), while 39% are still able to do without the device. By the way, can not imagine life without a smartphone for more than two thirds of Ukrainian youth (69%) and every second smartphone owner generations “60+” and “40-year-old” (50%). Among the “50 years” of such less – 44%.
