More than two thirds of Ukrainians consider themselves Orthodox faith, most of them call themselves the faithful of the local Orthodox Church in Ukraine (PCU)
These are the results of a new poll done in the second half of January, a consortium of Sotsis, KMIS and the Razumkov Center, reports the Politek.
To non-Christian faiths (Islam, Judaism, Buddhism, etc.) identified themselves with 0.4% of respondents.
Do not consider yourself religious confessions of 9.5%.
To the question: “what Orthodox Church do you belong?” was obtained subsequent responses: PCU (Metropolitan Epiphanius) of 43.9%, “I’m just a Christian, no denomination” – 38,4%, the UOC-MP (Metropolitan Onufry) by 15.2%. Refused to answer 2.5 percent.
The study was conducted from 16 to 29 January 2019 by the three sociological companies (Center for social and marketing research “Sotsis”, Kyiv international Institute of sociology and Razumkov Center). A sample of 11 thousand respondents in various regions of Ukraine (excluding residents of the Crimea and occupied semlali Donetsk and Luhansk regions), for population above 18 years. The statistical imprecision of the study: +/- 0,9%. Method of study: individual formalized interviews (face-to-face) according to place of residence of the Respondent.

26 Dec from 20 parishes of the UOC-MP in the Vinnytsia oblast has decided to go into the single Orthodox Church in Ukraine.
December 25, the parish of the Ukrainian Orthodox Church of the Moscow Patriarchate Dobrohorscha village in Khmelnytskyi region joined ptsu. On the same day in the Lviv region to ptsu prisoedinilis from three parishes of the UOC of the Moscow Patriarchate: the community of the villages of sandy and Verchany (striyskiy R-n) and the city of Uhniv (Sokal district). A day earlier, to a single Ukrainian Church joined the parishioners of the UOC-MP Holy apostles Peter and Paul in Zhovkva.
