The project of the first settlement on the moon’s surface

The lunar settlement must be able to support human life in another uninhabitable place. We must consider the problems that nobody could think of on Earth, such as radiation protection, the difference in pressure and how to ensure that local residents receive the breathing air,
– said the representative of the team of architects Colin Koop.

According to the project, the first settlement on the moon will be placed on the edge of Shackleton crater near the moon’s South pole, where there is daylight for the entire lunar year.

It is solar light will be used for producing energy, conducting experiments and obtaining resources, including food.

Home month to month settlement will have 3-4 floors and are equipped with working places, residential premises and systems of environmental control and life support systems.
