Hungary in the future is interested in connecting to the “southern gas corridor” (SGC), said the Minister of foreign Affairs and trade péter Szijjártó at a meeting in Baku with the Minister of energy of Azerbaijan Parviz Shahbazov.
Representatives of two States discussed the implementation of the project, the prospects for widening and increasing the capacity of a pipeline.
Szijjártó told the representatives of Azerbaijan on gas demand and plans to diversify the gas market.
Following the talks, the parties agreed to establish a working group that will deal with the development of cooperation in the energy sector.
