Smart watches, smartphones and tablets are two different product categories, which differ not only in size of display and set of functions. However, the company IBM decided to combine these three devices into one.

IBM original application was filed in 2016, but a published patent just now, according to Phone Arena.

After studying the drawings that are attached to patent documents, the website LetsGoDigital have created some realistic renders ambitious device.

Design features. As conceived by engineers, the inside of the hull will be hiding multiple display modules on a sliding mechanism. In total, the design has four compartments, each of which contains two display sections.

The release date of the new gadget from Lenovo is still unknown

Miniature size screens is 2×3 inches. By combining four of these sections, the user will be able to turn the clock in a smartphone with a display size of 4×6 inches, and “stretching” the image to all eight segments – a tablet with the dimensions of 8×6 inches. Note, the switch interface under the appropriate diagonal automatically.

Release date and price. Release date and estimated price of the ambitious device has not yet been announced.
