Last year the global automotive market increased the level of sales of cars of the Swedish brand Volvo.
In total, between January to December last year, the global automotive market has sold 642,25 thousand vehicles specified Swedish manufacturer. This level of sales by 12.45% higher than the sales volumes that were recorded in the same period of 2017.
The net profit of the manufacturer according to the results of last year amounted to 9.8 billion SEK, which is 4% lower than was recorded a year earlier.
It is worth mentioning that in September last year, the Swedish brand has decided to delay the primary IPO postponed IPO indefinitely because of not simple relations between the US and China in the field of trade.
It should also be noted that the company has already started to change their business to avoid additional costs due to trade disputes. For example, the production of the XC60 for the American market was moved from China to Sweden.
