Jaguar Land Rover spoke about the achievements of the Special Vehicle Operations (SVO) structure, which in the last five years has been producing the most powerful, luxurious and exclusive cars of both brands. According to the official statement of the manufacturer, at the end of 2019/20 fiscal year, global sales of this division grew by 64%, exceeding 9 500 cars.
Most popular product remains the SVO Range Rover Sport SVR: the car for five years, but the demand for it only grows. Also a significant proportion of total sales accounted for last year’s new products – the Jaguar F-Pace and SVR the Range Rover Velar SVAutobiography Dynamic.
Only in this range now contains seven modifications marked with signboards and SVR SVAutobiography – not counting cars “classic” substructure that is responsible for replicas and restoration of historical models.
According to managing Director of the SVO Michael van der Zande, who led the French Alpine brand before was replaced by John Edwards in JLR, the actual model number of the younger division is now as wide as ever, and the demand for all cars will only increase despite the difficult situation in the industry as a whole.
