On Board the helicopter were three crew members – citizens of Ukraine
In the crash of a Moldovan Mi-8 MTV near the Afghan military base of Mazar-I-Sharif, according to preliminary data, killing two crew members – citizens of Ukraine and 10 passengers (all Afghans). This information was confirmed in the Moldovan civil aviation Agency, reports “UKRINFORM”.
As have informed in a press-service of the Agency, the helicopter crashed few minutes after takeoff. Belonged to Moldavian airlines Valan International Cargo Charter.
According to available data, onboard the helicopter were three crew members (citizens) and 11 passengers. The information specified, carried out further investigative measures to ascertain all the circumstances of the crash.
This is the third incident with the helicopters mentioned airlines. So, in 2015, was shot down by Afghan Taliban, and in 2017, another helicopter crashed in the Ivory Coast.
