In Afghanistan in an attack on police in Baghlan province killed 13 police officers and a further 55 people were injured. This was announced by the Ministry of internal Affairs, reports RBC-Ukraine with reference to the channel Tolo News.
The Ministry reported that in the attack on the police headquarters in the city of Puli Khumri in the Northern province of Baghlan participated in at least eight militants of the movement “Taliban”.
“The attack killed 13 police officers, another 55 people, including 20 civilians, were wounded”, – stated in the message.
According to reports by Afghan media after the suicide bombing, militants stormed a police station and opened fire. Two terrorists of the Taliban were killed on the spot, others were surrounded by a unit of police special forces.
As reported in the Ministry of internal Affairs, the attackers on the control of the militants were liquidated by the police.
