In the Brazilian city of Sao Paulo decided to convert the pacaembu stadium in an outdoor medical centre for the treatment of cases of the coronavirus outbreak, says ABC News 14.
The stadium itself was not chosen accidentally – it is located near many hospitals in the largest metropolis of Brazil.
The stadium will be equipped with 200 hospital beds. The renovation of the sports facilities at the medical institution will last 10 days.
