In Simferopol in Russian-annexed Crimea, there was a massive blackout, which resulted in no electricity for 4 hours there are about 100 thousand local residents.
The reason for the blackouts was a strong wind, said the company “Krymenergo”.
The head of “the Ministry of emergency situations” of Crimea Sergey Shakhov linked it with the accident on one of the power lines in the city.
It is noted that there is a break on two high-voltage lines 110 kV overhead power lines North – East and 110 kV overhead line Simferopol CHP – North.
After 4 hours the electricity supply was restored.
