Sunday, June 21, early in the morning in Estonia, in the parish of Saku near Tallinn, the accident occurred. The accident killed the driver of the car – the citizen of Ukraine.
On the 9th kilometre of the Tallinn – Saku – Laagri in the area of the parish Saku Mercedes-Benz went off the road, the driver died at the scene.
According to preliminary data, the accident happened when moving from Tallinn car deviated at the exit from under the viaduct into the oncoming lane and crashed into a bridge.
In the car there was only the driver – 43-year-old man with citizenship of Ukraine, from injuries he died on the scene.
The accident happened on the road, where there is a speed limit around 50 km.
“The circumstances and damage to the machine indicate that the vehicle speed was higher than allowed. The brake track on the site of the accident is not detected,” – said the operations duty officer mihashi Prefecture of Raava järva. Järva noted that the driver was not wearing a seat belt.
Later it became known that the Ukrainian was traveling at a speed of about 230 km/h.
