In Europe, Ryanair pilots began a large-scale strike in the history of the Irish low-cost airline. The representative of the German pilots Union Cockpit said that the strike began on August 10 and will last 24 hours, according to DW.
The result of the strike was canceled about 400 flights. In particular, in Germany cancelled the most flights – 250. It is generally known that the strike affected about 55 thousand passengers. In turn, the management of Ryanair asked them to reschedule the flight or return the money for the ticket, payment of other compensation is rejected.

Reference point for negotiations are the tariff conditions of the tour operator Tui, which, as Ryanair uses the Boeing 737. Due to the lack of progress in the talks, 96% of members surveyed supported the continuation of Cockpit combat by strike.
