At least one person was killed and more than 60 remain under the rubble caused by a landslide at an illegal gold mine which occurred on the island of Sulawesi, Indonesia, on Wednesday. About it reports Reuters, citing an official representative of the national Agency for disaster prevention, Sutopo Nugroho.
According to the publication, the incident occurred at the mine in the district of Bolaang-Mongondow the province of North Sulawesi. As a result of the landslide was the collapse of support structures in the gold mine.
At the moment it is known that a landslide killed one person. Rescuers continue to take from-under blockages of people, yet they saved 13 people.
