On 21 June, the village of Ben’kivtsi Ivano-Frankivsk region, lightning hit a public transport stop and killed three people out of five that were there. This informs the General Directorate of national police in the region.
“It is established that lightning hit the stop, which consists of metal structures. At the scene killed three men (1954, 1963 and 1985 year of birth), who from the Lviv region went to stay with relatives. In addition, injured two women, a local resident. Their minds were hospitalized”, – is told in the message.
The police one of the women said that she was standing a little further from the impact she was thrown to the ground, and when she got up, the men showed no signs of life.
Upon the death of the police opened criminal proceedings previously under article 115 (premeditated murder) of UK of Ukraine.
Management of civil service on emergency situations in the Ivano-Frankivsk region warned on June 21 the region are expected thunderstorms, hail and squally wind increasing.
