The catering market of Kiev has already reached pre-crisis level. According to the analysts at Pro-Consulting, in one check, the majority of Ukrainians are ready to spend an average of 200 UAH.
The capital has witnessed the growing popularity of the concept restaurants and institutions with Asian cuisine (Vietnamese, Korean), as well as institutions with inexpensive seafood.
Kiev have become increasingly interested in fish restaurants. At the same time, the popularity of burgers and steaks rapidly falling.

According to the study Pro-Consulting annually in Kiev noticeably changed the number of restaurants and cafes. In 2013, there were 1672 these institutions, and in 2014 – 1573.
2015 proved to be even less favorable for this business: the number of cafés and restaurants decreased to the level of 1488.
In 2016 opened 105 new restaurants and cafes. And in 2017, they became 1800. In 2018 appeared 20 new institutions, and in 2019 – has increased 30 more.
