Thousands of Liberians took to the streets of the capital Monrovia to protest against corruption and economic decline in which many accuse of the President, the former soccer star George Weah. About it reports Reuters.

In the petition that the protesters filed to the Minister of justice Frank Musa Dean, admnistratsiya Weah accused of misuse of public funds, violation of press freedom and the inability to adequately Fund health programs and education.
Among the main problems pointed out by the protesters: a stagnant economy in which the majority of people still live in extreme poverty, and scandal in which the country last year lost 100 million dollars due to the loss of the new banknotes, designed for the Central Bank.
