In Mariupol at the solid waste landfill has launched a biogas plant?? with a capacity of 1.2 MW. The project investments amount to more than 2 million euros. This was reported in the press service of the Mariupol city Council.
“We developed a strategy for the treatment of solid waste. I hope that soon, with the help of French colleagues of the company Beten Ingenierie we implement the project of solid waste management from waste collection to sorting and disposal”, – said the first Deputy mayor of Mariupol Michael Kohut during the opening of the biogas plant.

Earlier it was reported that the company “Zorg Biogas” has completed construction of the largest biogas plant with a capacity of 7.5 MW in the sugar factory by the new technology in Ukraine.
And in Teofipol (Khmelnytskyi region) at full capacity the world’s largest biogas station, which is located on the territory of sugar factory.
